NCADA’s 91st Annual Family Convention Brings More Than 320 Industry Leaders Together at The Greenbrier
More than 320 attendees representing over 200 dealership rooftops gathered at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, for NCADA's 91st Annual Family Convention. Supported by 50 associate member sponsors and industry partners, the event brought together North Carolina's franchised automobile, truck, and RV dealers for four days of education, networking, and celebration.
The Convention began with a Welcome Reception and Dinner overlooking The Greenbrier's Chesapeake Terrace, setting the tone for a week of meaningful conversations, new connections, and time spent with fellow members and industry partners.
Throughout the week, attendees participated in educational sessions, leadership discussions, family activities, and opportunities to experience everything The Greenbrier had to offer. The Convention highlighted one of NCADA's greatest strengths: bringing dealers together to share experiences, support one another, and strengthen the future of the industry.
Leadership and Industry Insights
During the General Session, attendees heard from a diverse lineup of speakers covering leadership, advocacy, compliance, and the future of the automotive industry.
Keynote speaker Jeff Salzenstein, a former Top 100 professional tennis player and Stanford All-American, shared lessons on resilience, leadership, and building strong relationships. Congressman David Rouzer provided an update on legislative issues affecting franchised dealers, while Brad Miller, CEO of ComplyAuto and former NADA Chief Regulatory Counsel, discussed the changing compliance landscape facing dealerships. Additional speakers and discussions provided valuable insight into the issues impacting the industry.
Celebrating Excellence Across the Industry
The Tuesday General Session provided an opportunity to recognize individuals, dealerships, and partners who continue to make NCADA a strong and active association.
NCADA recognized Alycia Kellum of Don Williamson Nissan in Jacksonville as North Carolina's 2026 TIME Ally Dealer of the Year nominee. A second-generation dealer and former NCADA Chair, Kellum was recognized for her leadership, dedication to her employees, commitment to her community, and service to the automotive industry.
The Association's highest honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award, was presented to Linda Leith and Senator Harry Brown in recognition of their decades of leadership and dedication to North Carolina's franchised dealer community. Both recipients received standing ovations from their peers as members celebrated the lasting impact of their careers.
Members also recognized AutoPAC Superheroes, NCADA Champions, Victory Fund supporters, Golf Classic winners, and associate member partners for their continued support of the Association and its advocacy efforts.
A Convention to Remember
Outside the meeting room, attendees enjoyed many of The Greenbrier's activities, including kayaking, bunker tours, off-road adventures, pickleball, golf, and more. These experiences provided opportunities for members, families, and industry partners to reconnect and create lasting memories.
The Convention concluded with the Speakeasy Send-Off, a Roaring Twenties-inspired celebration featuring dinner, dancing, vintage attire, and a memorable evening together. From the costume contest to the Convention Memories video, the event celebrated the friendships built throughout the week and the people who make up the NCADA family.
As attendees returned home, they left with fresh perspectives, stronger connections, and a renewed commitment to supporting North Carolina's franchised dealer community.
