Formally the Self Insurers Fund (SIF)
In 1982, NCDA established a program that has seen the greatest membership penetration of any program in association history, the NCADA Self-Insurers Fund for Workers Compensation coverage.
Looking toward the future, the Trustees of this program elected to convert the program to a mutual insurance company, and on January 1, 2009, Dealers Choice Mutual Insurance, Inc. became a reality. This change positions the company to serve dealers to an even greater degree by providing the opportunity to write additional lines of dealership coverage and cover dealership locations in other states.
In their quest to meet the ever-changing needs of dealers, the Dealers Choice Board of Directors will continue to explore new and innovative coverages and changes to decrease the ever-increasing cost of workers’ compensation insurance and other lines of insurance coverage.
