NCADA 2011 Convention

75th NCADA Annual Convention
NCADA celebrated its 75th Anniversary at The Carolina Hotel at Pinehurst, site of NCADA’s very first convention. Members and special guests gathered as they had for many decades before, to honor those dealers who had worked diligently during the association’s early years to make it as strong as it is today.
The event kicked off with a Welcome Party and entertainment by Washington, DC comedy troupe The Capitol Steps.
The next morning, dealers heard from Gov. Beverly Perdue, NCADA Young Dealers, NC Attorney General Roy Cooper and ESPN’s Jay Bilas. NCADA also recognized Time Dealer of the Year May Raymond, Jr. During the afternoon, guests played tennis, golf, and enjoyed Pinehurst’s world-class facilities.
The final evening included a Champagne Reception and Grand Finale Dinner and Program recognizing all former NCADA Chairmen, Time Dealer of the Year honorees and Lifetime Achievement Award winners. NCADA also presented the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Awards to Mr. Bruce Griffin, Jr. and Mr. Rick Hendrick.
